Jorik Dozy
Jorik Dozy (Akajork) is an Art Director and visual effects graduate from Amsterdam, Holland. Jorik moved to Hollywood CA at the age of 20 where he attended the CG Certificate Program at Gnomon School of Visual Effects. While attending there, Jorik freelanced for various companies including Digital Domain. In his 5th term at Gnomon, Jorik landed an internship position at Gnomon Studios as Matte Painter and Concept Artist. There he worked on various films including ‘Green Lantern’ from Warner Brothers pictures, ‘+-’ from Academy Award nominated director Shane Acker and J.J. Abrams’s Fringe. Jorik recently moved to San Francisco to join the amazing matte department at ILM where he is planning to stay for a while!
Jorik Dozy is also the founder of the international Art Collective ‘The Luminarium’. This online art platform has grown out to be a very succesfull community and produces high quality art exhibits for anyone to enjoy.
